Esraa Rothman
Esraa is the owner of the Instagram account expatmom_uae which now has over 12,000 followers. She is also the founder and CEO of Moms Guide Abu Dhabi, a non-profit organization whose main goals is to build and support family and community life in the Abu Dhabi region.
Sudanese-American working mom of three beautiful children aged 8, 5, and 1. She’s free spirited and known as an idea curator. Her brain moves faster than her body can go. A laid back chic that walks around with that stereotypical hippie vibe. She is never afraid to give you her unsolicited opinion about gentle parenting. Esraa has been actively oversharing her motherhood and parenting stories on social media since 2008.
Other than her social media hat. Esraa works in New York University Abu Dhabi in their Research Institute. She earned her MPH from the University of Virginia and her interest lies in women empowerment. In 2009, she was given an honorable mention by Nicholas Kristof in his book “Half the Sky”. Esraa was the 2007 Center for Global Health Scholar and at different prestigious non-government organizations such as PAI, UNFA, UNDP, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and Habitat for Humanity.
Esraa earned her MPH in 2007 with a concentration in Epidemiology and Research. Esraa’s Moms Guide is the go-to source of inspiration for hundreds of moms & businesses in Abu Dhabi.
