 MICHAEL GARRIN, a highly respected media industry executive for more than 40 years, was appointed CEO of twofour54 Abu Dhabi, the emirate’s media and entertainment hub, in January 2020.

As CEO, he leads the twofour54 team in facilitating a vibrant ecosystem of local and global partners that enables and inspires the most creative and innovative content. Today, more than 500 media companies from around the world, including CNN, SkyNews Arabia, and Ubisoft, call twofour54 home.

Michael joined twofour54 from Image Nation Abu Dhabi, where he served as CEO from February 2011. Previously, he had also spent four years as a member of the Executive Committee of Abu Dhabi Media Company.

Michael oversaw Image Nation’s strategy and operations and played a vital role in managing and forging key international partnerships.
His media career began at Time Inc. where he worked for TIME, Fortune and Time-Life Television for over a decade. From there, Michael helped co-found what would eventually become Lorimar- Telepictures, a leading independent television company in the U.S.

His other previous roles included CEO of Central European Media Enterprises and Global Head to Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking for ING.

(Bob Bush) is a senior investment executive with nearly 30 years of investment experience across a wide range of industries, including defense, healthcare, aviation, energy, tourism, and financial services. He has consulted in agtech, advanced manufacturing, e-health, fintech, and artificial intelligence.

Bob consulted for clients in the US, Europe, China, and the GCC in several asset classes (private equity, venture capital, real estate, and debt) capital structures (Islamic and conventional).
He has worked in many capacities including entrepreneur, CIO, Board Advisor, and mentor). He has engaged in a full array of investing activities for sovereign-related entities including the European Commission and The Corporate Office of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.
Bob has advised on investment programs of more than US $300 billion and directly conducted transactions in excess of US $35 billion. He holds a Juris Doctorate from The University of Virginia School of Law.

joined the UAE Space Agency in September 2018 as an Advisor to the Director General on Strategic Projects. Among several duties one of his core focus functions is supporting the activation of the UAE Space Agency Investment Promotion Plan, and the development of a holistic national Space Economy with an emphasis on attracting space startups and investments to the UAE. Additionally Talal provides strategic support to both the Policy & Regulatory Directorate, as well as Space Missions Management Directorate. Talal was recently appointed as the UAE representative to the World Economic Forum Council on Space Technology.

Talal served at the UAE Embassy in Washington DC for 9 years as a Sr. Advisor for Commercial Affairs at the UAE Trade & Commercial Office and also led US / UAE Space Affairs. The role entailed bilateral trade policy and commercial issues to advance the UAE’s interests in the US and attract FDI into the UAE. On the Space Affairs front, Talal worked closely with the UAE Space Agency to out together a Framework Agreement with NASA and build ties with US Government stakeholders, Academia, and Industry.
Talal also worked in the Energy business at KBR where he led Business Development efforts for the GCC region in the downstream petrochemical segment and was based between Houston, TX, Dubai – UAE, and Khobar – Saudi Arabia. Talal graduated from California State University iwith a Bachelor of Science in International Business in 2006.


SANA BAGERSH who is strategy consultant, executive trainer, and speaker. She is CEO of BrandMoxie, a communication based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She provides high level consulting to government entities in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship/ intrapreneurship, digital transformation and international stakeholder relations.

She has provided consultancy services for the Abu Dhabi Municipality, the Department of Economic Development, the Higher Colleges of Technology, Emirates Foundation, the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority and other public and private entities.

Sana is founder of Tamakkan, an entrepreneurship and innovation platform that she established in 2009 to offer guidance to small businesses and to create an ‘ecosystem’ for entrepreneurs to learn, engage and collaborate.

Sana set up a short film platform called The Smovies in 2015 to promote the creation of organic content and support emerging filmmakers.

In 2009, Sana established a community focused magazine called Tempo to bridge cultural understanding and promote universal values and community sharing.
Earlier in her career, Sana was Manager Marketing Services for Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Company, and Bureau Chief Gulf News.
